Mountain biking what can you say about it from my humble beginnings on my Shogun Trailblazer, whenever I rode this bike I had the song with lyrics "On this steel horse I ride" going through my head this heavy beast got to many places that it probably should not have gone.  But it was a good bike and I got my full $240 out of it that is for sure.

About a year to 2 years late I mate the decision that I was going to keep mountain biking and decided to take fairly substantial investment into this past time that I enjoyed so much. Nice you might call me crazy but whatever you call me thats just fine! Because I invested into a 1999 Model, Hard Tail, Specialized Stumpjumper. This I have not doubt was one of the best decisions I ever made in my life, but dont get me wrong as Vivien will a test to it took me 6 months or looking at virtually every bike shop in Melbourne until Vivien laid down an ultimatum.  But after I tried the bike there was no looking back except the cost. But I have ridden every cent out of that bike and more I am sure of it.

I love this bike and will shortly have a picture of her up on the website, the frame the way the bike feels and rides there is just nothing like this bike and I would not swap it for anything in the world.

My love of Mountain biking is being with the country, quiet and with a care just the ride I am doing, with or without friends I love riding and the chance to be out there and getting around some great country.

Places I ride, have ridden and want to ride;

  • Marysville (Central Victoria)
  • Gembrook (Mt Dandenong Ranges, Victoria)
  • Kinglake National Park
  • Lysterfield Park
  • Cairns (courtesy of Dans' Mountainbiking) (Worlds Course)(And another ride!? :))
  • MOAB (1st on list of places to go)
  • ALGONQUIN (2nd)
  • HAWAII (3rd)

Actually Id like to Mountain Bike anywhere I can, see some different country and do different rides the more the merrier.
